Through her leadership, more housing units have come online by supporting "Mom & Pop" landlords with lead encapsulation—keeping homes safe and helping small property owners stay in compliance. She fights for funding for public parks, community centers, and housing stabilization programs—including lead abatement support and code compliance assistance for longtime homeowners and small-scale landlords. Her approach strengthens the fabric of neighborhoods while keeping Detroiters in their homes.
